About the event
Founded in 2006, FIFP is a Cannes platform for pan-African cinema and the cultures of Africa and its diaspora worldwide. The Changing World of Moroccan Hammams (dir. Petri Luukkainen, 38 min) screens as an Official Selection in competition. The documentary follows Professor Magda Sibley and architect Rachid Haloui as they revisit the traditional hammams of Fez, exploring how age-old traditions endure or disappear in a rapidly changing world.
