Bray's Run Productions congratulates Mateo Arango Guerrero and all the filmmakers who participated in the first annual BanffPitch
We are thrilled to share that Bray's Run Productions played a role in the inaugural BANFFPitch competition, a new and exciting initiative of the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival!
The 50th Anniversary Festival, which ran from November 1-9, 2025, was an exceptional celebration of mountain culture, adventure, and storytelling. We want to extend a huge compliment to the BANFF team for launching this pitch event, which provides vital funding and mentorship for the next generation of talented filmmakers. Events like this are essential for fueling the future of the documentary and adventure film genre.
Our Involvement
Bray's Run Productions was proud to have two of our key team members participate:
Greg Moga, our Executive Producer, served on the distinguished BANFFPitch Jury. The Jury was responsible for evaluating the inspiring projects pitched live by emerging filmmakers, ultimately selecting the winners who received grants of up to $25,000 CAD to bring their mountain film ideas to life.
Eric Forman, our Senior Producer, participated as a speaker on the Filmmaker Panel, sharing his industry expertise and insight with the finalists and attendees. Eric also had the honor of taking the stage to present the awards to the deserving filmmakers who received the inaugural grants from BANFF.
A Commitment to Storytelling
The energy and quality of the projects presented at BANFFPitch, which took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, were truly inspiring. Our participation reflects Bray's Run Productions' deep commitment to supporting original voices and compelling narratives in mountain and adventure filmmaking. Congratulations again to the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival on a landmark 50th year and a truly impactful inaugural pitch event!
