About Safe Enough

Safe Enough, Directed by Taliesin Black-Brown - winner of an Emmy Award and Audience Award

Safe Enough, a Bray's Run Productions short documentary, explores the life of teenagers from diverse backgrounds that gather each summer on an island in Southeast Alaska. Through a collage of deeply intimate portraits, Safe Enough reveals how pursuing art in a safe and inclusive space fosters vulnerability, authenticity and truth. Ultimately, the film inspires the question: what kind of healing and evolution is possible if we do not hide who we truly are?. The short film resonated deeply with audiences and critics alike, earning it the highest recognition in its category.
