Safe Enough Wins an Emmy Award

In a night of celebration and recognition, the documentary "Safe Enough" won the coveted Emmy for Best Topical Documentary at the 61st Annual Northwest Regional Emmy Awards ceremony. The prestigious event, held at Fremont Studios in Seattle on June 1, 2024, honored the film's creators - Executive Producer Greg Moga, Producer Ben Cowan, and Director Taliesin Black-Brown.


The Northwest Regional Emmy Awards, presented by the Northwest chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), honors exceptional work of individuals in local TV across the states of Oregon,  Washington,  Idaho,  Montana, and Alaska. "Safe Enough" emerged victorious from a pool of outstanding nominees, a testament to its powerful storytelling.

About Safe Enough

Safe Enough, a Bray's Run Productions short documentary, explores the life of teenagers from diverse backgrounds that gather each summer on an island in Southeast Alaska.
